My Miami Sephora Haul

February 24, 2016

Hi loves! So I went to Miami for a couple of days this month, super happy to see my family and friends, and I was more then ready to get some shopping done! I had a long list for Sephora, that I had to edit otherwise my husband would’ve not been a happy camper haha! There where a few things I had to get, like the Laura Mercier Secret brightening powder, which I have been using and its really nice, I’m really loving it! I also got the First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 eye cream, the verdict is still out for that one since it has only been a couple of days using it but it does feels nice and not heavy to wear under makeup at all. I purchased the latest HD concealer from Makeup Forever and I love it! Is not as hydrating as the Nars concealer, that is my holy grail {see blog post here about it}, but it does cover the under eye dark circles amazingly! I got a super cute nail polish color from the Sephora line named Trilling, it’s a must have, perfect white-grayish color, give it a try if you can.

I got a 100 points reward right away because, I didn’t want to save them until next time, and I picked the pink gel coat for the nails that I had always wanted to try, so perfect timing. I got my Sephora Birthday present and this year is a set from Fresh {Face cleanser and Rose mask, that I already tried and it left my skin super soft and nice}  so quite happy about that too! At Heathrow airport before heading to Miami, I got a few duty free items, that honestly next time I will get more stuff! They had everything there! There was a Jo Malone store where I purchased my fave scent from them, English Pear and Freesia and also I got the Lip maximizer from Dior… What should I get next? My list is starting for my next trip to Sephora! P.S. Stay tune for my pharmacy makeup haul next 😉

Until next time!

December Must-Haves

December 13, 2015

So I’m running a bit behind on my wish list for December, but besides being Christmas it is also my Birthday month! I’m a Christmas baby! Like literally, My birthday is December 25th. I normally know by now what I want, but this year I keep changing my mind but here are some things that would make me really happy, wink wink! I’m obsess with Uggs right now, its so cold outside that I want every style possible, but I’ve eyeing this Ansley slippers for a while, they look so comfy and perfect for walking Valentino around. The Valentino ankle boots look amazing!! I love the style, looks so sexy and cool yet sophisticated, perfect to wear with pants or a skirt/dress and tights, Want!!! Everything is about the Christmas sweaters hahaha! But quite honestly I’m not too into that, but when I saw this one from Wildfox I loved it, the morning person Christmas sweater is my type of Christmas jumper, and has my birthday date so yes, sold!

I really want a Laptop case that I can use as a purse as well, so the Kate Spade stripe laptop bag looks super cute and perfect to take my laptop around with me. Gloves, My saviors! I’m always cold and I feel it more in my hands, but so annoying I can check my cell phone with im wearing them, so the Tory Burch Whipstitch gloves sound like exactly what I need, they have the possibility to open the glove on your thumb and initial finger to use your phone. Don’t ask me why I want that rebel lipstick from MAC, I’m a nude a pinky lipstick kinda girl, but there is something about Fall that makes me love dark Lippies, and I’m waiting for Miracle Eye Wand from Charlotte Tilbury like a kid waiting for Santa, I can’t never find my color available {hubby, I’m number 3, just saying :p} so I hope to get it somewhere this month or by January. Lastly, the pom pom charms… What can I say, I’m weak! I’m jumping in the trend but they are so cute!! Love this one the colors from this one Jocelyn and this Karl pom charm from Fendi is just so fabulous. let the festivities begin… Until next time!

Artemis by Sunday Riley

October 2, 2015

Hi there!! So you guys probably have an idea of how much I love beauty oils, and this one by Sunday Riley caught my eye a while ago. Before moving to London I went to my local Sephora and got a sample of it, because let’s be honest I do think it is pricey, but I really believe that if it does what it promises {Most of them don’t!} then its worth the investment and with all of the pain of my wallet, after a week of using the sample, I can say that it is amazing!!!! Totally worth it!!!I have combination skin, so using oils in my face always scares me, but the Artemis Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil by Sunday Riley works brilliantly, and its specially formulated for combination/oily skin.

All the traveling that I have done lately, was showing in my skin, I had some dry patches and was breaking out a lot, I only used it at nights after cleansing my skin and I personally didn’t use any other moisturizing just the oil, and after a week my skin clear a lot, and it felt so nice and plump, I felt in love, gave my skin a lot of luminosity, it says it helps against premature ageing {yesss please!!} and it has toxin-fighting enzymes to keep your skin blemish-free and beautiful. I purchased the full size bottle before leaving Miami {currency conversion issues lol}, and I’m using it every night and sometimes even in the morning when I don’t need to wear makeup, but the good thing is it will last you for a while, I’ve been using the one I purchased for over two weeks and looks like new. So my advise is if you are not ready to commit, get a sample in a store like Sephora or SpaceNK and test if it works for you, but since I’m sure you will love it, just get the idea that you will end up buying it… sorry wallet and you welcome face 😉 Until next time!

———————————————

Hola!!

The Best Concealers!

July 15, 2015

If there is one makeup item I can not live without is concealer. I have had dark circles since I can remember, and because of that I have tried so many, I can definitely show you my top 5 holy grail concealers. Lest start with the MAC “Pro Longwear” concealer, it is smooth and doesn’t crease {much} but do use a setting power, I use NW25 to get a bit of highlight with the concealer too. I love this Maybeline concealer and it’s so affordable, so it’s a good one to try for a decent price. I purchase this set from Bobbi Brown mostly because of the “corrector” and I really like it although I’m not that big fan of so many steps, but sometimes you just have to do it!

One brand that’s quite popular in France is Clarins, and I keep hearing it from the British YouTubers about it so I had to try it, I have to say it is great and really full coverage too so it a fantastic one when you need a full face of makeup. Lastly my favorite ahhhh, the Nars creamy concealer, I tried it a while a go, and then I used some other ones because I always want to try what’s new, but I recently went to get it again because honestly it’s really that good! It’s smooth with a brightning effect and covers everything but doesn’t feel thick or over the top. What is your favorite concealer?? A must have that I should try!!?? Until next time

Paola

Until next time.
